Yesterday was a travel first.
This had never happened before.
My flight was delayed by heat.
The temperature had soared in Denver to 34 degrees celcius, and apparently that would make it difficult for our too-heavy plane to take off.
So they unloaded all the bags. Asked for volunteers to take another flight. And then they had EVERYONE get off the plane - because the air conditioning was not working. LOL.
It ended up being a slightly inconvenient 2 hour delay. But a safe flight home, more importantly. And I had a chance to catch up on a lot of reading, such as an article about sleep, where I learned:
"2 techniques to fall asleep: 1) write down what's on your mind (get it off your mind) 2) Breathe in deeply for 3, out for 6" – Tony Schwartz
I finally arrived home on the farm at 7:30 and went to bed soon after. Today I'm back on track, on East Coast Time, and went to the gym for a hot and humid squat session.
1A) Squat
1B) Box Jump
2A) Olympic Squat
2B) Good Morning
3A) Lunges
3B) Bear Crawls
I'll be feeling it in about 24-36 hours ... and then for the next 48 hours after that.
Over on the www.TurbulenceTrainingFanpage.com QnA, here were some questions and answers:
Tony Stellar says, "Have you ever done reviews for supplements? And what are your thoughts in general about them?"
Answer:
Things that work and are generally needed: Creatine, protein, fish oil, maybe digestive enzymes, probably probiotics. Maybe vitamin D, depends on individual. I like BioTrust.com and Paleo Protein Powder.
Tracey McDonald Pierce Just starting to workout again... Have some workout tapes, can't afford the gym right now, I have to watch a tape or have a list of what to do... Any suggestions?

the one i am drinking right now, Paleo Protein Powder from True Nutrition is great!
Eva Workman asked: I drink 150-200 ounces of water a day. I work out. AND I love Diet Dr.Pepper... how bad is it for me, really?
Answer:
I'll let you know when you're 90 years old. Really, I have no idea. I would just say, it probably isn't good for you, but I don't know if it's bad. If you ever get unhealthy, cut it out, first thing.
Answer:
If it's just the normal workout spread out over two sessions, the only problem is you need to warmup twice. It's inefficient at best.
Good times!

Andy Harms What's a general rule on "two-a days"? If I spend 20-30 minutes in the morning and 20-30 in the evening doing TT, is it more/less efficient? Is it too much wear and tear? Specifically, lifting in the morning, and doing intervals in the evening.
