Sport Nutrition Supplements

Sport Nutrition Supplements

I'm reviewing Brad Pilon's ebook, Muscle Myths, about the sport nutrition industry and the myths about muscle building. It's a great book, full of the history of bodybuilding and supplement use, as well as the science that tells the real story behind bodybuilding supplements.

The history is fascinating, especially when you learn why whey protein was chosen to be the "star" of the bodybuilding world.

Be Careful With Nutrition Supplements!

Very discounted supplements are usually just that, very cheap; proper nutrition is crucial and not always cheap. There are a wide variety of supplements and special foods that allow an athlete to provide their body the necessary nutrition to refuel after energy-sapping activities. A great place to start when trying to get in shape is to cut back the portion sizes of your meals; by intaking less you will begin to see a change in your own body composition. Knowing your body and what does and doesn't make you feel good is an important thing to know when changing your nutritional intake.
