Today's 5 minute workout comes from a good friend of mine, Alwyn Cosgrove (pronounced "Alan").
Alwyn is a Two-time Stage IV cancer survivor, having beaten lymphoma by undergoing high dose chemotherapy and a bone marrow and stem cell transplant.
More about that in a moment...First, the workout:
1A) Reverse Lunge - 45 seconds (alternating sides
1B) T-Push up - 30 seconds (alternating sides)
1C) Inverted Row - 30 seconds
Rest 45 seconds and repeat 1 more time.
If you are a beginner, try:
1A) 1-leg Hip Extension - 30 seconds (alternating sides)
1B) Slow Kneeling Push-up - 30 seconds
1C) Beginner Inverted Row or Stick-up - 30 seconds
Thanks to Alwyn for the workout.
And thanks to Alwyn for putting together an incredible collection of articles and programs from the world's best trainers, with all proceeds going to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
It's called, "Lift Strong", and I still refer to my copy on a regular basis for ideas and inspiration.
