My Nuts

Here's a photo of my nuts. In bags, of course. From my cupboard.

From left to right:

1) Coconut Flakes

2) Raw Pecans (usually mixed with coconut flakes in my morning breakfast of blueberries, peanut butter, coconut flakes, and pecans)

3) Raw Almonds

4) Apricots (I know these aren't nuts, but they go great with raw almonds)

5) Raw Cashews (A great mid-afternoon snack on their own)

6) Walnuts (These are my last-resort nut. I don't really like them, but if I'm out of everything else, I'll mix them with blueberries or strawberries, or throw them in oatmeal with peanut butter. Sorry walnuts, you're just not my kind of nut.)

Walnuts are tasty mixed with fresh strawberries! I like them mostly in things like yogurt and oatmeal, though, not so much just on their own. Almonds and cashews are dangerous though - I could eat those by the handful.

Nice one Craig! your humour is slowly coming out!!

Do you buy pesticide free nuts? They are the most heavily sprayed crop here Down Under.

Craig...are you aware that nuts are better stored in the freezer...rancid nuts are really bad for you...and walnuts happen to be one of the best kind with the most nutritional benefits...

I buy brown rice from a normal shop, it does not say organic or it. From the organic shop, there is also brown rice but it says organic on it. Is there are difference in in brown rices that say organic and those that don't say organic on them or are they the same?

Almonds tend to be on the pricey side where I live. Try buying in bulk to save money when looking for almonds or other nuts. Check out this website: ohnuts.com/buy.cfm/bulk-nuts-seeds/

This website has helped me out. Maybe it can help you guys out too.
