Note to everyone who wants to "work their abs": Don't waste your time with db side bends. Every time I go to the gym there is a lady there doing side bends. Every workout. Waste of her life.

Hi Craig,
I would like to ask you for an opinion. If someone is actively working out, but is underweight (according to BMI index), would you recommend any exercise or just to focus on eating more until the weight is up to normal?
What would be your best recommendation for an underweight female? Please respond as honestly as possible.
Thank you.
It really depends on the situation. Without knowing a lot more about the person, their height and weight, etc., I can't answer. This person should talk to the best personal trainer in their town for advice.
Hi Craig,
You would be the best personal trainer in town even though you do not train people on individual basis. You have a high level of knowledge on workout regimes and the body needs and requirements, so I thought I would try and reach out to you if you are willing to help. All the necesseray information can be provided to you if you are open to help. Please advise.
Thank you.
hi there.
if db side bends are useless, what's the best alternative?
