Catching Up on Workouts and Travel

Been busy, so time to catch up on some workouts. Yesterday was a fantastic session at the local YMCA.

Deadlifts, box jumps, leg curls, db split squats. Boom - that was it.

Today will be a workout in the garage and backyard with the 35, 44, 53, and 70 pound kettlebells I have. There will be snatches, presses, farmer walks, and close-grip pushups with hands on the handles. I'll do lots of abs with the power wheel as well.

Then it's back on the road to Toronto. On Wednesday, I'm off to Lithuania for our annual www.BlackSmithCamp.com adventure - including a side trip to Croatia and a night in Frankfurt on the way home. Looking forward to a little bit of Euro cafe culture along the way. Need to get out of my regular environment and see things differently for a while.

And don't forget, there are just 3 days left in the July Diet Depletion Challenge. What can you change? It's just 3 days!

Today's Kickbutt Mindset Tips:
Test & track everything you do. Become the world’s most important science experiment. Aim to establish cause & effect in your life. Take a look at what every daily decision leads to in your life, then determine if the daily decision is right for you - or must it change?

There's nothing wrong with starting with one small change in your life, turning it into a victory, and using that as the foundation to change your world. Start with one. One simple daily habit. That is how we win.

“Happiness and freedom begin with a clear understanding of one principle: Some things are within our control, and some things are not. It is only after you have faced up to this fundamental rule and learned to distinguish between what you can and can’t control that inner tranquility and outer effectiveness become possible.” – Epictetus
