No, I'm not in jail

On Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays I do workouts from a book called "Convict Conditioning". But as a free man, not in jail.

(NOTE: The book will be released on www.dragondoor.com in October. Sorry, not my book, otherwise I'd make it available now!)

So today I got up, did the 60 minute dog walk, then came home and did...

1) 10 minutes of stretching for my tight hips

2) 30 minutes of Convict Conditioning (including a 12 second handstand and 4 handstand pushups)

3) 10 minutes of jumps and sprints

Followed that up with...

morning blender drink:

=> banana, blueberries, frozen strawberries, almond butter, almond milk, sunflower seeds, frozen spinach

I call that the "Safe Recipe" because its guaranteed to taste good. No risky ingredients.

Then I had a breakfast bowl of: banana, blueberries, peanut butter, pecans, and coconut flakes.

Stay strong (and out of jail),

Craig

PS - Don't miss the 7 truths about smoothies...

Craig - Can you share a couple of good stretches for the hips? Perpetually tight IT bands for me. Standing and stretching at the waist to each side for 10-15 seconds helps. I know there have to be more.

Thx
Jay

Hi Craig...how long do you intend to be doing the convict workout routine?

Craig,

I am eagerly following all this stuff you have said about the convict routine. I loved that movie con air with nick cage doing those cell pushups! There has been some talk on the dragondoor forum about the book and also someone linked to your site, as you seem to be the first man to be an expert on this great new idea. My question is: when are we going to be getting video of you doing all this cool prison training?! My buds and I want to see how to apply this stuff please. Particularly handstands. I have never seen a bodybuilder do a handstand! As with nutrition you are ahead of the curve AGAIN! Keep up the cutting edge work!!!!!
