I tried out a new gym here in Toronto and it was a lot of fun. It's called Bang Fitness, and Chris Lopez used to train a few sessions there back in the day, I think. It has more racks than you can shake a stick at. And I know because I found a stick and started shaking it at the racks. But then I got tired.
And I did this workout instead.
1A) Hang Clean
1B) Mobility
2A) Deadlift
2B) Bench Press
3A) RDL
3B) Ring Dips
Fun times!
Today's Kickbutt Mindset Tip:
7 NOT To-Do Rules of High Performers
Everyone knows what TO DO for success, right? :)
But most high performers also need a list of NOT To Do Rules so that they stay on track every day.
As Warren Buffet says:
"The difference between successful people and very successful people is that very successful people say NO to almost everything."
Here are 7 Not To Do Rules of High Performers that make them successful.
1. Do NOT hit the snooze button
2. Do NOT check social media or email first thing in the morning
3. Do NOT gossip or argue with people at work or in the industry
4. Do NOT eat high-sugar foods, especially for breakfast or lunch when you need to be mentally sharp at work all day
5. Do NOT drink too much caffeine, especially late in the day
6. Do NOT consume excessive amounts of alcohol at night that leave you tired and groggy the next day
7. Do NOT watch television or check email late at night because this prevents you from falling asleep
If you follow these NOT to do rules, you'll keep yourself OUT of trouble and perform at a higher level every single day.
So are you with me?
Are you committed to quitting the snooze button, starting your day right, and following the high energy principles that I've laid out for you?
Good! Let's do it.
