Denver Nuggets and Meathead Training

Great dinner last night with Isabel De Los Rios, Mat Smith, Jeff Siegel (Isabel's business partner), and Adam Bornstein. We went to Tag restaurant in Denver. Isabel and I had the scallops. They were really great, and I had a big salad, too.

Afterward Matt and I went to the Denver Nuggets - NY Knicks basketball game. Good times. I had a bag of peanuts and a water. It was a blow-out, and the Nuggest are just such a great, young team. The Knicks, however, had two guys that were around 40 years old, and Carmelo Anthony played a stinker.

In a few hours I'll be heading home to Toronto. But first I'll do one more workout. It will be an upper body meathead training session of DB chest press, DB row, pullups or pulldowns, pushups, and arms. I'll be back to heavy lifting on Saturday.

“The best way to get started is to get started. Life rewards action…not reaction. Wait for nothing. Attack life. Don’t plan to death or ask for permission…but act now…and apologize later.” – Kekich #81

And it goes well with this:
"If you want a great job, you need to build up valuable skills to offer in return. Adopt the craftsmen mindset first and then the passion follows...Turn your focus toward getting so good they can't ignore you...Regardless of what you do for a living, approach your work like a true performer." – Cal Newport

“What the mind of man can conceive and believe, it can achieve” – Napoleon Hill
