Good Farm Workouts with Daisy

Daisy and I have been having a blast out of the farm. There is still snow on the ground for her and yet its warm enough in the sun for me. She starts off with crazy Daisy energy in the morning, but after a good game of fetch or puppy-rope-tug-of-war, she gets really tired out in the afternoon and falls asleep in the craziest places and in the funniest positions.

Yesterday's training session:

1a) Front Squats
1b) Pogo Jumps

2a) KB Swings
2b) X-Band Walks

Then some sprints with Daisy!

Quotes of the Day:
"Never cease chiseling your own statue." —PLOTINUS (205–270)

"Of all the virtues we can learn no trait is more useful, more essential for survival, and more likely to improve the quality of life than the ability to transform adversity into an enjoyable challenge." - Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi

"Resilience is the virtue that enables people to move through hardship and become better. No one escapes pain, fear, and suffering. Yet from pain can come wisdom, from fear can come courage, from suffering can come strength—if we have the virtue of resilience."
Eric Greitens, Resilience: Hard-Won Wisdom for Living a Better Life
